Dialogues with The Mirror: Self-reflection and introspection have much to teach a person. By looking into the infinite mirrors of a psychomanteum a deep and abiding sense of truth about myself was revealed which shattered my preconceptions of myself and my world. As much poetry, and philosophy as prose, Dialogues with Mirror, is an investigation into the despair that melancholy, nostalgia, and self-examination can bring and the beauty, joy and freedom that these revelations bring.
Bast Ascendant: In cities all over the world felines are turning on their human masters. In other places people are waking up with big cats such as leopards and lions on their beds who do not want to eat them they just want to play......In zoos all over the world the captive big cats have disappeared and everywhere the number of domestic felines in the world seems to have increased dramatically. With their fearsome numbers and using the powers inherent to felines these domestic cats begin a campaign to punish humanity, a campaign mandated by Bast herself. Yet there is more here than meets the eye as it becomes apparent that all the felines are not united in purpose, with the big cats acting as the protectors of humanity against the vastly superior numbers and powers of the domestic cats. There is a war going on and neither Bast and nor Sekhmet plans on losing.
Vector Prime: She is immortal. Spiritually corrupted by her overindulgence in chemical excess, depravity of the spirit and the diseases of the body and soul that come with it. She has become their vector, their carrier, their Typhoid Mary....Through her, a great evil is able to harvest souls as it snatches and ensnares more and more souls when they come in contact with her own evil...Through a cabal of chemical specialists she is able to spread her poison into the world yet through all her centuries she has come to yearn for death and more importantly for a chance at salvation.....She finds her opportunity in the work of a brilliant young scientist who seems to have found the cure for all addiction, and if she can reach him first and allow him to take the missing piece to the puzzle from her own biochemistry, she may finally find redemption. There is only one problem: She has been ordered to hunt him down and kill him.
The Hunt (With Ted Stevens): We as a species have forgotten our bestial nature and with that great memory lapse has gone many of the skills which our ancestors had learned from watching the great cats hunt. Today we are inundated by books about how to capture potential partners, yet not one single one of them takes into account a fundamental truth, and that is that human beings are animals and as such are still subject to dictates of nature. This book goes back to the basics, the principles of hunter and prey. Using the 4 of the great cats as a template for 4 master strategies of the hunt that can be applied in any environment this book will reawaken within a new generation of women and men the hunting prowess which our ancestors gained by studying the master hunters in their own ecosystems.
